Meet Lyne!

To those of you who don't know me yet, my name is Jocèlyne, but you can call me "Lyne" :) I am the woman behind Lynesthetics!  

I started this brand back in 2021 while I was a student in the esthetician and spa management program at Humber College. I put my butt to work, and what started as a dream quickly turned into reality. I created a space where beauty, artistry, and authenticity come together; where no one feels left out. For as long as I can remember, I had a nail polish collection that boasted every color of the rainbow, along with a ton of glitter! Being an only child, I often painted my cousins' and friends' nails whenever they came over, and I loved playing with my mom's makeup.  

As a high school student with no responsibilities, my allowance money went straight to food and the nail salon! When I was finally old enough to get a job, I worked in customer service and enjoyed the new and different experiences every day. I never knew that aesthetics could be a career option for me until my final year of high school. While applying for a program in forensic pathology, I spoke with my cousin Maya, who suggested I pursue aesthetics—something I had always been interested in. And good thing she did! Lynesthetics became the perfect way to combine my love for aesthetician services with my passion for connecting with others.  

Lynesthetics isn’t just about services—it’s about the experience. I wanted to build a brand that feels personal, professional, and rooted in community, offering spa-quality self-care at a price that the 17-year-old, nail-obsessed Jocelyne would have been thrilled to pay.  

Currently, I am pursuing further education in healthcare with plans to become a nurse. This path required me to take a pause from my business to focus on growth—both personally and professionally. Now, I’ve cracked the code for balance and am fully committed and more motivated than ever to Lynesthetics. Since returning, I’ve expanded to a bigger space, added new services, and opened my availability to serve even more amazing clients.
